Maison Margiela Pop-Up Concept
The Concept
A conceptual Maison Margiela pop-up set within the burned house of Ray Bradbury’s There Will Come Soft Rains. The story imagines an automated home continuing its routines after its inhabitants have disappeared, creating an eerie tension between technological order, human absence, and destruction.
The Design Approach
I used Bradbury’s house as the foundation for a world Maison Margiela could inhabit. The story’s technology became rigid typographic structures and architectural grids; its rain became outlined, rectangular forms; and its deterioration disrupts those systems through fragmentation and deconstruction.
These rules extend across publication, print, objects, and environment, allowing each piece to feel like it belongs to the same place rather than functioning as isolated collateral. The result is a campaign that gives Maison Margiela a complete narrative world to inhabit.
